I was a partner of an unlicensed boat which left MAN 頃沙 KING SHA (not on chart) on 26.9.40 at 09.00 hours bound for TA
British Territory). Altogether there were five persons on
board my boat. My cargo consited of 50 ducks value $50.00, 10
piculs of string value $150.00. Total value $200.00.

un 27.9.40 at 07.00 hours my boat was sailing west of
LÍN TIN (Long.113° 43′ E. Lat. 220 25' N.) Chinese Territory.
I saw a Japanese motor boat come out from KI O Island (not on chart, near HƯNG CHÂU SĨ Long.113° 43′ 45" E. Lat. 220 10' NJ
The motor boat was painted grey. When the motor boat was a
short distance the Japanese on board fired several shots at my
boat and two other boats. The motor boat went alongside the
two other boats. I saw Japanese board these two boats and dump
cargo overboard. All the crews on these two boats were made to
go on to the motor boat. The motor boat then came alongside my
boat. Three Japanese dressed in khaki uniform boarded my boat.
They were not armed. All my cargo was dumped into the water.
The two crews of the other two boats vere ordered on to my boat.
The Japanese tied a rope to one side of my boat. This rope was pulled by the Japanese from the motor boat and my boat capsized.
We were all thrown into the water. The motor boat then rammed
my capsized boat. My boat split in two. I noticed then that the other two boats land disappeared,aught hold of a plece of wood with another foki LEUNG YUK TONG. e drifted for several
hurs till we were near CHUNG CHAI SI, I saw an unlicenced
boat in the water and we climbed on board. It had a hole in
the bottom. At that time another three Chinese males
